Nine Thoughts to Ponder
9
Death is the number 1 killer in the world.
8
Life is sexually transmitted.
7
Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.
6
Men have two emotions: hungry and horny, and they can't tell them
apart. If you see a gleam in his eyes, make him a sandwich.
5
Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day. Teach a person to
use the internet and they won't bother you for weeks, months, maybe
years.
4
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in the hospital,
dying of nothing.
3
All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention
to criticism.
2
In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world
is weird, and people take Prozac to make it normal.
1
Life is like a jar of jalapeno peppers. What you do today might burn
your ass tomorrow..........
...and as someone recently said to me:
Don't worry about old age, it doesn't last long.
All good (and true)... sigh
ReplyDeleteWhat Old NFO said ... although some of us might dispute #6. :)
ReplyDeleteI resemble # 6
ReplyDeleteAs Robert Earl Keen sang, "It's all about living fast, but dying slow."
ReplyDeleteOn #6 as you get older it's more hungry.
On #4 a recent study has correlated the onset of mental illness with vegetarianism.
This made me laugh out loud PH.
@NFO, Rev, Rick, and kx59, whose post showed up in my e-mail but not here - I relate most strongly to #2.
ReplyDeleteAnd then there kxx59 is. Computers are weird.
DeleteI had some issues with settings in my browser after an update that kept me from being able to comment on blogs. I think I've got it sorted out now.
