I Tugged At the Corner

And it went down hill from there.  Not to mention that my corner tug was at about 8 pm Saturday night and it took me until after 11 to get all the carpet strips out and everything cleaned up when I was done.

Now I have to paint it.

  2. Clearly, it's the feline's fault!

    1. It, no matter what "it" is, is often their fault indeed.

  3. Ouch, but think of how much easier it will be to keep clean!

    1. You wouldn't believe how much dirt was under there, added to the decayed backing.

  4. This happened to me after I'd finished painting my kitchen with water-based paint. I saw a little "tag" of dry paint and pulled. Four hours later that little tag had become a WALL of plastic that I had to keep on peeling. Then the ceiling unpeeled. Then I found myself in the living room with more paint was cascading down. It was HEAVY once all of it was on the floor like wallpaper! I then found out the prior paint had been oil based, and the two types didn't like each other.

    1. Ow! At least my little experiment was something I'd been considering doing and was relatively limited in area.
