This Is My House....

...on December 16.

This is my daughter's house on December 16.

Any more questions as to why I refuse to move to Michigan?

  1. (With the thought that Michigan was my childhood home - St Clair Shores to be exact, 12 and Harper - and that I sometimes miss those winters of ancient days when the 2nd floor doors were used and we drove on the Lakes ...)

I'd like to let you know that in the part of Idaho where I now call home, we've had less than half the snow they've had in San Antonio, TX so far this season. :)

    Merry Christmas PH

  2. Yea, I hear you. And I am living in (western) MI these day. On the other hand, although we have about a foot of snow outside, from the past week, where I used to live in upstate NY has more snow.
I like the change of seasons, but as I get older, I am getting more and more tired of dealing with winter and snow. On the other hand, MI has very few hurricanes, wildfires, or earthquakes. So I will continue to deal with snow, and look forward to retiring when I don't have to drive in it every day...all day long.

    1. I love it when people say west michigan, and then find out that they are from Grand Rapids. That is more like the center part of the state to me. I was born in Hesperia, and now live in Muskegon. This is on the lake west.
