Are You Kidding Me?

I was watching the flu season before the COVID 19 panic-demic started. Because I don't want to catch the flu and once it gets rolling I get really dedicated to hand washing, being careful about opening doors with bare hands, etc.  Basic flu prevention.  The flu was listed as wide spread in West Virginia.  But a funny thing has happened.  Apparently, although we haven't cured the flu, we've reduced it way below normal even though it started off with a bang.

Oh, sure, I believe the seasonal flu numbers dropped that much.  Particularly after signing off on covid deaths became incentivized.

    1. I just realized that I mislabled the current season. The data is just from 2/1 on. Influenza season is considered to start in November, peak in February and March, and be be gone by the end of May. But even at that, if you replicate the rise and decline roughly, you aren't going to get anything near a normal season.
