Because the bears aren't the least bit interested in hurting their kids.
Because the 6 inch snake they found on their deck isn't interested in biting them.
Because if the temporary invasion of the 17 year cicadas freaks them out...
...along with the bears and coyotes and snakes...
THEN MAYBE THEY SHOULD HAVE STAYED IN THE DAMNED CITY!!!!
But apparently once you get emphatic about such things you get thrown off the site.
LOL, ya think??? All those empty McMansions out in Loudon are empty because 'there are THINGS that go bump in the night out there' :-)
ReplyDeleteSince our little town has moose, coyotes, wolves, and black AND brown bears, lots of things to take pics/videos of. Fortunately, most here understand it's a feature of small-town Alaskan life. A few freak out, but are roundly poked fun at (not grammatical, but accurate).
ReplyDeleteNFO an Rev - I'm at the beating head on table point. Now somebody is fussing because people don't leave their porch lights on. There's a house for sale that's across from the crick from where the second house I remember used to stand in Preston County (aka real West Virginia)...

Remember thew uproar when a past Sheriff partnered with ICE and snagged a bunch of illegals who were literally destroying a certain beach every weekend with mounds of discarded trash? Or the outrage over another Sheriff staking out the mailboxes or school and checking ID's on people getting mail or picking up kids but still displaying tags from other states on their cars?
