Spotted While Bicycling...

...near Lake Gaston in Virginia.  In one of those little family graveyards you see along the road and in fields sometimes.

With eternal gratitude for your service and sacrifice, I salute you, young Charlie Moseley.

    1. Grandfather, who died in 72, was less than 2 yrs older. While in the trenches, he suffered one of the gas attacks, but he made it home. I am blessed to remember sitting on his lap at the age of 3 or 4 ... I have this vague memory of mom telling me to not kick. He was 80 when he passed 2 days before xmas. I remember a bit or 2 about the day of the funeral and the church funeral. I was sent back with other grandfather because I was starting to fidget and also the weather was horrendous. I've been told it was so cold the man playing taps was having a tough time with the mouthpiece being so cold.

All gave some, some gave all.
