Wait. Rewind that.

"Washington—Sunni extremists in Iraq have occupied what was once Saddam Hussein's premier chemical-weapons production facility, a complex that still contains a stockpile of old weapons, State Department and other U.S. government officials said."

But I thought Saddam didn't have any chemical weapons?

Of course, we do have satellite photos of trucks swarming and leaving those weapons factories in the months before the U.S. invaded.  So these old ones are just the ones that got left behind as they moved them out of the country.

    1. Bush spent time building a coalition, and that gave them time to prepare and ship stuff out. We found contamination from the stuff even up until recently. But the media wouldn't report it.

  3. The fun of a double whammy - the left and the media, but I repeat myself, couldn't and cannot admit that Iraq had WMDs, even after its been shown that there were chemical weapons in Iraq but the left can't allow that to get in the way of the narrative, and the Bush admin at the time couldn't point out the fact as they majorly screwed up in failing to secure them and have sufficient troops to do the job at the time.

    1. I remember when that one shell was found. The story disappeared immediately as far as the general media was concerned.
