Toddler + Trike + Evel Knieval =

... Broken collar bone.  Apparently she stood up on the seat of the tricycle.  Briefly.

There is not to be anything in the house remotely resembling a red cape from now on.

  1. So I guess that I should not tell her that a bed sheet makes a pretty good parachute then?

  2. Also, how did she get so big and so old so quick?

    1. Fortunately, kids heal a lot faster than us old folks. And the day after she was running around the house asking to go outside.

    1. Apparently she is. Doc says collar bones "find themselves" when broken.

  5. Ouch. First bone I ever broke was a collarbone. It involved a bicycle. And an impromptu ramp. And the first time I ever caught air with a bicycle. And no instructions on what to do when I told Gravity that it no longer controlled me, and Gravity decided to impart a Life Lesson. :)

    1. I was fortunate in that despite my tree and rock climbing youth I never broke anything.

    1. Took my sister up to see her for a couple days last week. Good as new.
