Ouch. First bone I ever broke was a collarbone. It involved a bicycle. And an impromptu ramp. And the first time I ever caught air with a bicycle. And no instructions on what to do when I told Gravity that it no longer controlled me, and Gravity decided to impart a Life Lesson. :)
So I guess that I should not tell her that a bed sheet makes a pretty good parachute then?
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't do that, no.
DeleteAlso, how did she get so big and so old so quick?
ReplyDeleteTell me about it. The baby has been replaced with a little girl.
DeleteCute kid - I hope she recovers quickly.
ReplyDeleteFortunately, kids heal a lot faster than us old folks. And the day after she was running around the house asking to go outside.

DeleteOUCH! I hope she recovers quickly
ReplyDeleteApparently she is. Doc says collar bones "find themselves" when broken.

ReplyDeleteI was fortunate in that despite my tree and rock climbing youth I never broke anything.
DeleteShe is getting bigger. Here's to hoping for a quick and easy recovery.
ReplyDeleteTook my sister up to see her for a couple days last week. Good as new.
