All those folks screaming that Trump should "reopen the government" and that the "shutdown" is Trump's fault do know, don't they, that he can't wave a magic wand to do that?

They do know that he has to have a funding bill on his desk to sign or veto and that Congress has not given him one. Because the dems have been busy.

I think it falls under the heading of some folks can do no right, and other folks can do no wrong.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I'm tired of the entire tantrum thing and wish some folks would grow up, and act like they are supposed to do The People's work, and get stuff done...pass a funding bill, let Trump build the wall, and if it doesn't work to keep out illegal aliens, if nore cops get shot by illegal aliens, if there is an increase in the flow of illegal drugs into this country, then they can point it out forever at the end of 2019 into 2020. Sigh. But because the Dems have painted themselves into a corner, they are stuck trying to figure out how to have their cake, and eat it too, while saving face. My two cents is it wont happen and someone will be eating crow.
