Broke down and got the Covid sticks even though I haven't been particularly worried about the bug. First one was about 3 weeks ago. Second was Monday. Woke up Tuesday and I think my ears were the only things not howling in pain. Spent the day popping Tylenol and laying on the couch wanting to sleep. Which I couldn't do because the shot also gifted me with hours of RLS.
Somebody tells me that I have to wear a mask after that and I may smack them.
Marilyn Mosby, MD's States Attorney for that gem of a city, Baltimore, has announced she won't prosecute crimes like drug dealing 'cause racist. Biden has a pen and a direct phone line to Obama, so he's just issuing executive orders right and left, regardless of elected representatives.
So, given that legislatures pass laws that certain people in executive positions are actively ignoring, why do we need to keep paying legislators? For that matter, why should MD, for instance, even keep paying for a governor, since he signed laws into action? Legislators and governors seem to have become superfluous.

I remember the family who didn't know where their children were because police/CPS in uber-liberal Montgomery County, MD, had nabbed them as they walked home from a local park one day in 2015 and didn't contact the parents for hours.
The parents were condemned and excoriated by many in the general public. They were in many people's eyes neglectful. CPS opened cases against them.
Now parent-less children are flooding across our border, sent thousands of miles in the company of strangers in what Biden administration officials have referred to as a loving act.
Once again, if liberals didn't have double standards they wouldn't have any at all.
The admin has refused entry to border facilities, but has said that THEY would provide pictures. How very reminiscent of North Korean, communist Chinese, Soviet socialist, and Nazi German propaganda machines.

...if the Biden administration actually believes what it says about the China Flu - "once in a century pandemic", +500,000 dead from it, we have to get vaccinated AND still stay masked, distanced, and locked down, etc. etc. etc. And we do know, and have known since the first outbreaks that it is indeed a killer of the elderly and those with pre-existing conditions.
Even CNN and the New York Times have acknowledged that our southern border is now absolutely flooded.
About 6% of those crossing the border illegally are infected with Wu Flu, and the government is both busing them into communities in the dead of night and allowing them to disperse across the U.S.
The collapse of our border isn't accidental: Biden declared during the campaign that one of the things he would do differently is create a border surge. This administration is deliberately seeding this disease into the U.S. in order to maintain control. We expect a "hot" war to involve guns, but people are going to be sickened and killed by this - Greyhound bus drivers have already contracted the disease DESPITE ALL ON BOARD THE BUSSES BEING REQUIRED TO WEAR MASKS. (Put that one in your pipes, Karens, and smoke it.)
There is a growing cry for the impeachment of Andrew Cuomo (D - Sociopath) for New York's nursing home deaths. Biden's administration is doing exactly the same thing Cuomo did, and they are doing it on a much larger scale.
If Fauci is so afraid of Wu Flu that he believes we should mask up after vaccination, why isn't he down at the border screaming his head off over the free flow of carriers into the US?

Forgot to close the door to the under-construction bathroom. They poured concrete in the shower pan yesterday.
I was together with a group of folks chatting and suddenly a group of uniformed men rushed up into an area near us and flopped onto their bellies, aiming their rifles ahead. Not towards us, per se, just forward. It was like the foot soldiers weren't even aware of us. It ran through my mind that they were Japanese and I thought "Oh, yes, it's the late 1930s." Then I thought "They've all got Arisakas." There was an officer standing on a nearby rise looking at us. Then there was an officer who looked exactly like him bathing. And suddenly I was filled with fury, and walked towards them, screaming something to the effect of "You can go f*ck yourself standing on your head and spinning! You have NO authority over ME!" All the while having the sense that doing so was a very dangerous thing.
And then Copper asked to go out for his morning pee.
On reflection, it occurs to me that the invading Japanese were stand ins for the invading statists, Biden and his administration. Because what I was yelling was exactly what I was thinking when I heard Biden's threats.
My master bath is very small. And has been occupied by a shower and bath tub unit. I started getting seriously tired of the bath tub during chemo when it was a struggle to safely step in and out of the tub. I just shower - rarely take baths. The hall bathroom has a tub anyway.
So when I refinanced a couple months ago I took out some cash and engaged a contractor to re-do the bathroom and install a walk in tile shower. They started Wednesday. My house is a disaster. First I lost the hall spare room:

Fortunately there's another spare bedroom. The bed is a full, however. Me, a 70 lb hound, and two cats. It's crowded.
Did I mention that the rest of the house is a disaster? Dust from the work, dust from people going in and out. I want to run away from home and not come back until they are done and somebody else cleans my house.
