My Favorite Perfume

A warm winter has given us a bumper crop of biting black flies, and it's amazing how good this smells when being outside means having a cloud of the aggravating buggers around your head.

It's also amazing how loud one of these things is when it's walking around inside your ear.

    1. I suspect my itching is because of this post...

  2. We still have 2 1/2 feet of snow on the ground, so it will be awhile before the biting/stinging kind of insects come out. Between the Piper Cub-sized skeeters (our State bird), black flies and yellow jackets, it's a reason to be glad that summer is a short season here.

    1. Yeah... You live close enough that I know you are blowing them out of your sinuses when you mow the lawn...
