Woo hoo!

I blogged a little while ago about a life-eating project that turned out to have been dropped without me being informed.  Then about the trials of getting an article about the project through the editing process at my agency.

But today I received word that the article fer shur has been accepted for publication in Professional Surveyor Magazine.  I don't have a pub date yet, but I'm a happy camper.

  3. @NFO, Rev, Keads, Guffaw, ML, AGirl - Thanks so much. I have a dream of supplementing my income after I retire by writing for history mags, but it's very hard to break into that sort of thing without already having been published. Sort of a Catch-22 - you can't get published unless you've been published. So this serves to both close the Never Ending Project and give me a some publication chops, since it involves surveying history as well as technology.
