A sign in my office says the opposite: "Criminals beware: Patrons and Employees may be armed."
Which is probably more effective.
I see them and I refuse to enter... Just sayin...
I've tried to respond to this twice now - let's see if third time's the charm. My response to Aurora is to reconsider some things like going to MD to go to the movies, since it's a seriously no gun for good guys state. Need to check and see what the rules in the theaters in Martinsburg are. Nobody expects for a theater to become a killing field, but pretty much most people don't expect insanity to come into their lives. Maybe nobody could have gotten a good shot off in all the tumult. But maybe they could have. There are 12 people dead who probably would have liked at least a "maybe".
I have not been one to avoid gun free places. I have never wanted to be controlled by having a gun or. It, but the more respsosiblity I take for my life, the less willing I am to leave it up to good fortune, chance, the cops, etc. I won't say I never will go to a gun free place, but it is becoming more and more rare.
I never noticed any where I live. I live just a few miles from MD, however, and I tend to head for Frederick for certain things. I think I'll pay more attention now.
