Such a Helpful Rule

Apparently, the theater chain that includes the scene of last night's horror has a no firearm policy.

Repeat after me:  "Bad guys don't obey the rules."

  1. i expect to see them in all theaters ASAP, all that will do is keep people like me from going. I already hate crowds and when I go to a theater, I cringe the whole time I am there. If I can't carry, I simply won't go. phooey on these theaters and their anti-gun signage

    1. Reminds me of the "Drug free zone" signs I see. Yeah, like the drug sellers are going to stay away on account of that.

  3. don't want me armed? Then you obviously don't want my money either. My standard reply to any business with a 'no weapon' sign.

    1. You know, I can't think of anyplace other than the standard ones - schools, etc. - that have a no guns policy around where I live. Which is a good thing.

  4. Criminal: one who disobeys laws.

Gun-control: laws designed to keep guns away from those who obey the laws in the first place.

    1. Don't know about the design but I do know that that is what ends up happening. Yes, the guy who did this is barking mad. No, preventing law abiding citizens from buying guns will not stop another barking mad shooter - particularly one as clever as this one seems to be.
