It Doesn't Take Much

A sudden snow squall, a steep driveway, and you have my neighbor calling his insurance company.

Oddly, I didn't hear it.  Must have just merged the sound with the wind and radio.

  1. Oopsies. At least it stopped there instead of continuing on down the hill. You didn't mention any injuries (other than bruised pride) so that's a good thing.

    1. I checked it when I saw it to make sure no one was in there, then called the neighbors. They hadn't heard it either - saw it this morning. Apparently he was just bruised. But it is a good thing he was able to get out. He would have died very quickly from this cold had he been trapped.

    1. Yeah. And probably an unwillingness to even try to get up that driveway until Spring. 2020.

  3. That had to suck.

I saw quite a few wrecks up here Thursday morning - people going too fast, getting surprised by road ice and their cars ending up in head-scratching locations.

    1. Every once in a while I see one sitting in a way that I can't figure out how it possibly be.

  4. crikey.
Reading between the lines, I take it that the vehicle was the only casualty.
Talk about a bad day. Very bad day.

    1. Just bumps and bruises for driver. It wasn't high speed so that helped.

  5. Yikes! You're lucky that it didn't keep rolling down into your yard.

  6. It's the next driveway over - it would have rolled into the woods. But I still can't believe I didn't hear it.
