D.C. fire chief in charge of fleet maintenance demoted


...this happened at least twice in the last few months.



Apparently, stop signs are not approved for use as heat shields in ambulances.

    Gotta say, it's a solution I wouldn't have thought of. I would have, like, used proper heat shields.
