Just Wondering

Once we are all liberated from work and I can just sit on my deck all day, who's paying for my beer?

Just wondering.

  1. Probably me, since I'll still be out there slogging along... sigh

    1. Well, the prevailing theory over the last few days has been that NONE of us should be working because work unnecessarily hampers us from being free to follow our dreams and to tuck our kiddies in at night. One of my dreams is to have a roof over my head - who's paying for that while I drink my beer?

  2. The Democrat theory goes something like: "As long as you keep voting for us, we'll keep passing laws to make someone else pay for your beer, or we'll just tax you more and give you some of it back for your beer and if you're not dumb enough to thank us, others will be."

    1. They seem to forget that if I'm not working they can't tax me...

    1. Because in their world money grows on trees.

    2. No, they know it doesn't grow on trees. They think that the government just prints it, and therefore it has value.

    1. Unfortunately the inquiring minds seem to be lacking.

    1. And because I have a sense of responsibility I'll keep working.
