Christmas Refuge

The story is that an abandoned dog sought shelter in a church's Christmas creche.


Story also says that dog now has a home with  a church member.

    Gaaaaaaarh! Pisses me off when people abandon pets. Sorry, folks, your pet is a family member whether its convenient for you or not. If you are going somewhere you can't take the pet, then you dam well better make arrangements for the pet.

      Considering the horrendous abuse case that we are hearing about just north of my area right now, this comes in as a GOOD story.

      Both cases....dark alley, baseball bat, and 2 uninterrupted minutes (the rest of you can stand in line, I'm only asking for 2 minutes!!!)

    I love this story. (It also proves that dogs are smarter than many people, but that's a whole 'nother sermon...)

      Yeah, but humans, even the best of us, are incapable of the absolute and unconditional love and commitment that a dog lavishes on us daily.

      Juvat - Heh. Yep, can't have just one for very long. I've resolved that once my too elderly cats go Perry will be an only child for a while but you know how that goes.
