Or at least out of the mountains.
Yeah, I'm in a quandary - love the mountains but not keen on the difficulties that higher elevation and sloped roads bring.
Stay safe, warm & dry, my friend.
I went out to put out bird feed. That's the total of my outside today.
Oh crap!
Texas has plenty of room, and only occasional (freak) ice/snow storms. But these are good things, they ensure that the bad drivers stay home for the most part, leaving the roads a lot more open (and safer) for those who know how to drive.
When I think of leaving the mountains I do remind myself that I could bicycle more in flatlands.
Brrrrrrrrr!!!
Exactly. Although despite the dampness and the house temp being set at 66 I'm not chilly today. Some days you just can't seem to keep the house warm.
Headed to Quantico in about a week to visit my son and his family for Christmas. Hope it all goes away by then.
Doing a drive at Christmas myself and would prefer clear roads.
Yipes
And, as Keads said, crap.
