For many of us the New Year actually starts on Jan. 20 this year. And unlike Moochel Obama, who will now have to pay for her own swanky vacations, I see much reason to hope.

Happy New Year!
I'm back home from the wilds of Michigan safe if not sound - I woke up this morning with the sore throat from hell and the day's been like that. Spent the day mostly in bed in the hopes that lots of fluids and rest will hurry the bug on out.
For many of us the New Year actually starts on Jan. 20 this year. And unlike Moochel Obama, who will now have to pay for her own swanky vacations, I see much reason to hope.
